Established in 1970, Earth Day takes place every year on April 22. The day offers an opportunity for everyone around the world to demonstrate their support and commitment to environmental protection.
Terra Outdoor is steeped in a love for the outdoors. That includes our personal, curated outdoor spaces as well as the great outdoors that we all share. So, we’re taking steps every day to make smarter choices for the planet.
To celebrate Earth Day this year, Terra Outdoor made a generous donation to the National Forest Foundation (NFF). Our initial contribution will fund the planting of 10,000 new trees.
And that’s not all. From now through the end of 2022, we’ll donate the funds to plant one additional tree for every order made in our showrooms and on our website. For Terra, partnering with the NFF is a choice to invest in our open spaces, clean water, wildlife habitat and the future of our national forests.
Why Reforestation Matters
In recent years, a combination of wildfires, insects and diseases has put many forests at risk. Reforestation is critical for a balanced ecosystem and our personal health for many reasons, such as:

Our Mission & Commitment
The NFF is investing in healthy forests for today and for future generations. Our efforts will help the organization restore tens of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat, which extend from the longleaf pine forests of Florida to the cedar groves of Alaska.
Terra depends on wood to create some of our favorite outdoor products. Regenerating our U.S. forests makes the entire planet healthier and more sustainable, even if the wood we use for our furniture is not directly taken from there.
