Our Woodside and ReClips collections are crafted from recycled post-consumer plastic, while the Sea Ranch collection gives new life to character-rich reclaimed teak. In honor of Earth Day, we’re shining the sustainability spotlight on a few of our favorite eco-friendly projects and organizations. These include:

100 Years of Gorgeous Patina

Zen and the art of outdoor living. Our Sea Ranch collection takes eco-consciousness to a whole new level. Built using planks of reclaimed teak salvaged from century-old homes in the Java region of Indonesia, the clean-lined collection lets the rustic beauty of the wood take center stage.
Danish Design Turns Trash into Treasure
(pictured above) The ReClips dining chairs, featuring sturdy plastic lamellas made from 97% recycled household trash.
Designed by Henrik Pedersen for HOUE, ReClips Dining Armchairs are built using a process that transforms plastic waste from a problem into a resource. Small flakes are created from the post-consumer plastic, then melted and molded into slats the company calls “lamellas.” Exemplifying Scandinavian outdoor furniture design ingenuity, the lamellas attach to powder-coated aluminum frames to provide seating with flexible support and comfort without cushions.
Classic Design Goes Green

Our Woodside collection is crafted of EnviroWood® – a durable, no-maintenance resin made with post-consumer recycled plastic bottles and containers. The earth-friendly material is an all-weather, marine-grade recycled HDPE polymer, the same kind found in plastic milk containers. Proudly made in the USA, EnviroWood resists moisture, fading, splinting and warping.
Plant-A-Tree Program
Continuing our program launched on Earth Day in 2022, for every order placed in Terra Outdoor showrooms or online, we’ll plant a tree through the U.S. Forest Foundation Plant-A-Tree Program. Learn more about our commitment to sustainability.
